Undoubtedly there will be comments about a man reviewing a lesbian movie of this nature but I ask for your patience and just read what I have to say. Here TV!’s documentary on lesbian sex is absolutely amazing and I honestly enjoyed every minute of it. It is an uninhibited and uncensored look at what so many of us men know very little about and it is a refreshing look at the practices of lesbian women.

“Lesbian Sex and Sexuality” is a six episode series that broke ground when it aired on television and now it is available on DVD for all to see. Areas of lesbian sexuality that are rarely, if ever, talked about are presented here and each episode covers a certain aspect of lesbian sex. I must admit that I was not quite ready for the boldness of the series but once the initial shock of seeing naked women having sex sunk it, I realized that I was watching an incredible series.

The six episodes are “Porn Today; Pushing the Limits” and it indeed does, “For Your Pleasure” Exotic Dancers”, “The Evolution of Erotica” which s both entertaining and very informative, “Fulfilling Fantasy”—a look into the minds of lesbian women, “Relationships: Outside the Box” and “Selling Sex to the Mainstream”.

Leaving nothing to the imagination, we get an in-depth study of the sex lives of lesbians in a beautifully photographed and literate documentary. Katherine Linton directed and wrote the series as well as being the executive producer and she has every reason to be proud of her accomplishment

I am sure you are curious to know if a man can enjoy this movie and I say unequivocally yes. We have, for too long, not been aware of that the other sex that makes up the gay community and this movie is as important to us as it is to the women. We fear what we do not know and here is an easy way to find out about our sisters. Pick up a copy, sit back, and open your mind, It will do all of us a great deal of good.
